Finally some sunny skies. All that rain was pretty much starting to get me depressed.

Meds went fine - she didn't say anything about passing or failing or anything - I hope that's normal lol. She just did his exam.

FYI - Also, some interesting news is that they don't send the medicals to POS anymore! She said, starting in April, they were asked by POS to send them to Ontario instead. Weird. Maybe so the medical won't reach POS so far ahead of your actual application? I was concerned so I called POS to confirm this, and they said all medicals are sent to Canada (vs. POS) now.

Barbados is sooo nice. We were only supposed to stay one night but decided to stay an extra day to enjoy. MUST go back!

Ms D..I'm glad you got through alright. I had no problems either when i did mine. They don't tell you whether you pass or not. I'm happy you enjoyed your brief stay in our lovely island. I should have found out where you were staying so that we could have met up. Anyhow I've booked my ticket for July 19th.Hubby is so excited and so am I. Good luck again to you and the rest of our forum family.

The beginning of a new month.....June. Can you believe it? Time is flying. Before we know it, Christmas will be here.

@Smoki When using my pc I can't seem to update the s/s. I've been getting this msg.

Unable to make a secure connection to the server. This may be a problem with the server, or it may be requiring a client authentication certificate that you don't have.
Error 107 (net::ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR): SSL protoccol error.

Not too sure if i use my mac book, the same issue will arise. Hopefully not.

Hi Admirable

That error is being caused by an ssl setting on your browser.

For either ie or firefox ,you have to go to the browser settings -> advanced tab and enable SSL 3.0

Hey everyone - looks like our application will be going out next week! Exciting/scary!

I am just putting together the last printouts, photocopies, etc over the weekend. I have a question though, so I need my experts
- In the instruction guide, it says how to certify photocopies. In the country specific instructions, it says to include photocopies of passports, my Canadian document, etc. How do I know what needs to be certified and what can just be a photocopy? I will have about a billion print outs of facebook convos, flight itineraries, etc and I don't plan to have everything certified (obviously). But is it just documents like passports/birth certificates? Should my lease with my common-law be certified? I don't want to spend too much money certifying stuff that isn't important, but I want to make sure I certify what I need to.

Hmmmm...my understanding was that only official documents need to be certified. The only certified copy we had was our marriage certificate. Everything else, even passports n birth certificates we sent as just plain ole copies.

I've got question, but let me preface it by saying that I do not wish to incite panic or worry in any of us, nor am I panicked or worried myself ...I'm really just plain curious

Ok, now that that's out of the way, question - I noticed that POS has one of the lowest approval rates for spousal PR visas out of all the VOs (75% approved ). We're like 6th from the bottom or something. Anyone know why this is? Are the applications poorly done? Are people attempting to sponsor spouses that are obviously inadmissible? Or....????
