my wife from guyana they say they will send back her passport to make the travel arragements i dont understand why evben request her passport keep it 8 weeks then ask for interview and they only asking dis since i send them email for status they reply me with this like i dont understand they have all info and if they did not have it and has doubt why ask to send pp to finalize appl and and appl in final stage dont not make sense at all wat can i do can i seek lawyer will they be able to chage or do anything shoudl i ask pos if this error wat is the reasons for new document i dont mind my wife go interview i will go with here why we need to do all forms again like thats stupd and they have all our pic and docs and so
[/quote hey ravi, when POS receives your passport the background check is still not completed until the visa is issued in the passport. if I can clearly remember when POS requested my husband passport in the letter stated that if for some reason any discrepancy comes up they will return the PP until they are satisfied. From what you have said, POS is still asking for additional information to complete the process. Just keep the faith and please let your wife remember everything that was filled out on the form,dates you guys met, got married, vacation etc..... don't give up you are on almost there keep the faith.

when did you send in your PP. Pos kept out passport for 2 months and when we reached out our MP she said they can keep the PP up to 12 weeks. Anything over 12 weeks and then they (MP) would have reached out to them. Keep the faith. The finish line is visible

Yes I received a sponsorship approval letter and two weeks after hubby received a letter from POS stating that they received a letter for permanent status. However every case is different from each other because we received updates every month until they requested the PP in December. Also two week after we received the PP from POS our ECAS was not changed until the third week to Decision Made.
Based what you are saying you are in the final stage and Pos only have to issue the VISA. congrats in advance.

OK your Ecas will not change and I don't think you should rely on ECAS at this point, just keep tracking you FedEx or DHL return tracking number. No one understands CIC!!!

my wife did rcvd approval letter for pr saying need to submit pp for next stage in application pos they rcvd pp on janaury 27 2015 so i dont know wat is goin on now are they having doubt now our marriage is not real wtf why even request pp and hold it 8 weeks am telling you ppl these ppl at pos only asking this cause i email tehm asking for status update since was taking long and they reply with this they ask for pp for visa not to check back files and change mind and not sure if marriage is fake they do that before asking pp

I am 4 weeks in waiting on my PP from POS, based on what you're saying, I believe it's time to just sit back and be patient. It is true ECAS will change and update but not at the same time as your processs. I have noticed that with my process so far.

I hope this Is a mistake for you Ravi. You have a kid with her and they doubt the marriage lol that sounds so stupid probably pos has a mixup

Were going on 18 months now... Has anyone else heard of pos taking this long! This is getting ridiculous now
