Port of entry query!

Hi all,

Please help me with the following query:
I received Canadian PR issues from New Delhi High Commission. And I also hold H1B (USA) visa with me. I am travelling to USA sometime in May'15 and later from US I plan to go ahead with port of entry at Toronto. So is it possible that i can opt for port of entry from USA, as my PR is issued from India?

You can use any port of entry.

Thanks for quick response. I am aware of that i can make port of entry at any of the province except Quebec. But by concern is, as my PR visa is issued from India. And i shall travel to US and after staying for a month in US and then from US i shall travel to Canada and make port of entry, is this possible?

Yes you can land any time before expiry of your PR entry visa. You need to give Canadian address while landing for PR card delivery. Generally PR card arrives in 6 weeks time.

No, some port of entry does not have immigration services.

I got My PR and in my CPR its mentioned that my destination city is Toronto , but since my relatives and friends are in Calgary , i want to land in Calgary instead of Toronto. and my question is , My PR formalities can be done at Calgary Airport ??. Hope this is the right place to ask my question and if not forgive me
