Its always good to send all the documents together in one single package. If you send the PCC when they have requested it will delay the processing a bit more.....Once they receive all the documents and paper work CIC will transfer your file to Local Embassy for Stage 2 processing....Good luck

Thanks for your reply, mine is in land application, does it matter like I said I already sent in the application. I just got the police report from back home, so can I send it in or just wait for them to ask for it

If you have UCI or File Number, you can forward them rather than waiting to hear from them.It will save your processing time as well..Good luck

Hi,
I have a question regarding the police report as well and wondering if anyone can clear me with it.
Is there an amount of time that a police report is valid for?

Thank you for your reply.
Are you sure it is 1 year? I have been reading a few posts here on the forum and I have seen a few people say it was 3 months and that is why I am a bit worried.

good luck to you too! :)

You have to submit the PCC within 3 months from the Date of Issue with the application to CIC or Local Embassy(If not submitted with the application package) and its valid for 1 year...If the date of issue is more than three months when submitting the PCC, then it is not accepted....:)

oh ok
My issue is this that we were asked to send in the original police reports.
So I am wondering if it is ok to send the same ones, but sending originals this time rather than photocopies?

Every applicant should send his/her ORIGINAL Police Clearance Certificate/Reports as mentioned in the Application Form.Photo copies are not accepted by the Embassy...Keep a copy of the reports with you for future.Nothing to worry about this....:)
