Hi guys, hope someone can help me with my question.
I got ITA in Sept 2018.I filled the post ITA questionaire and got the checklist to upload documents.
I lived in Germany from Aug 26, 2013 to Feb 1, 2014. So if I count days it is less than 6 months but if I count Aug-Feb it is 6 months. I got a document upload file for 2 police reports-one from my home country and one from Germany I am assuming. Therefore, what should I be doing? Do I need to upload police report from Germany ?

Even though I have not spent full 6 months there?
The application has calculated the duration and since it asks for submission, you must. I can suggest you to change the end date of your Germany stay from 1st Feb to 31st Jan. 1 day should not be a big deal unless there is an exit stamp in your passport from Germany.

If obtaining the PCC from Germany is a fast process, then I would suggest you obtain and submit the certificate. It is always better to be safe than sorry. I would obtain it even if the rejection probability was less than one percent.

Besides, although CIC requires PCC from the countries stayed for 6 months in a row for the last ten years, it is at the officer's discretion to ask for the PCCs that are shorter than the duration stated above.
