Police clearance certificates

Hi Gurus,

I have currently applied for OINP and waiting for my nomination. Meanwhile thought of finishing my Police clearance, which is going to be a Himalayan task as I have get clearance from 6 countries in which I lived for more than 6 Months.
1. UAE
2. Nigeria
3.South Africa
4. Yemen
5. US
6. Qatar

I live in US now, so I will be able to go through the process and India(Home country) as well will be smooth as I can get it done from Indian consulate. But others seems to be very hard.

UAE: Need to get the finger prints taken and attested by US state department and then by UAE consulate and send it to UAE - How will i be able to get the finger print attested by state department?
Qatar: Same as UAE, need to get attested by US state department..

May I please know how you got your Nigeria Police Clearance.

I have got this done by a person who is in Nigeria after a long struggle.

Please get this done by some locals who reside there now.

Thank you so much for your reply. I see. Did they still have to forward the police certificate to the office of the ministry of affiars prior to sending it to you?

I still need to send this to the embassy of nigeria here in canada is that correct?

No. I did not go through any of that process from the US. Just got the Fingerprints along with my passport, Letter and sent it to Nigrria. The local guy got the clearance and sent me the clearance certificate which I submitted to the Canadian authorities,

We do not know anyone in Nigeria who could help us on this. We took chance of sending the requirements to the Nigeria Police Force. Nothing is for sure at this time.
