Police Check from Canada

Hi,

I have a question. I will apply for immigration in EE from canada. Do i need a police check. some people say that we should get it just to expedite the process. I am not sure what to do? It will take a month and I want to apply before.

Any experience who did not submitt he police check from canada?

if you have been in the country for over 6 months in total, you will need to obtain a police certificate from RCMP. I don't recommend you to leave it till you receive a ADR in the process cos that will put a BFD on your application .

do it beforehand is better in my opinion . it will take you about 2 weeks to receive.

and on CIC it is mentioned that they do not require a police certificate for canada if they will need they will request it later. so that is why i am not sure

are you in Canada? You do not need it.. CIC will do your background check my themselves

I have applied for a police check yesterday in canada , they will give me in 3-4 weeks but they did not take my finger prints. I have booked an appointment at a head office.

Kindly advise if someone got the police check in CEC application before the submission. Did u give the fingerprints separately.I will getth epolice check in mail but do i need to go for the finger prints or not?

Any CEC applicants.

NOT REQUIRED. You need PCCs from every other country (excluding Canada) that you have lived in for at least 6 months, since the age of 18.

IF IRCC does later ask for a PCC, it will require a finger-print based RCMP clearance. Sorry, it sounds like you wasted your money.

ugghhh ok never mind i will not go for my finger prints appointment then.I am still waiting for the draw. my points are 460. I CREATED MY FILE ON 5TH SEP. LET HOPE
