Hi all,

I'm currently applying for the PR. However, I found out that my country's police certificate is valid for 3 months only.

Do I have to submit one with my application and then resubmit another one when they ask for it ? Since it will take them more than 3 months for my application?

Or I submit my application without Police certificates and wait until they ask them ? So that I avoid spending money twice for them ?

Thank you

Hey,
Submit it now , it's ok as long as your police certificat is valid at the moment of application.
Generally they don't ask for one again. Sometimes they ask for a canada one, but that's on a case per case.

The validity stated on the PCC is irrelevant to IRCC.

If you need a police certificate from a country or territory and:
  • are currently living there, or received the police certificate before leaving, the police certificate must be issued within six months before you apply.
  • have lived there in the past, the police certificate must be issued after you last lived in that country or territory.
