Hello all,

I have a few questions that I hope to get answers from this forum.
I am currently waiting for LMIA from my company which I should be getting one in a few weeks.
If I get my LMIA I should be able to receive ITA.

Should I get my police certificates and medical exam done before receiving ITA to save time or should I wait ?

Thanks a lot!

I believe I've read that you need all documents ready before submitting Express Entry profile...

I got a question for you: How were you able to find a company which can do LMIA?
I'm in a trouble with LMIA....

You can do medicals but it would be better if you can wait till your ITA and moreover medicals do not take much time to do, since you will have 60 day to submit your application after ITA.

For PCC of Canada you need a request letter from CIC to apply for it, so you need to wait for this too.

It makes sense to get PCC now for all countries that you lived in for 6 or more months but no longer reside. Places like the United States take 15 weeks to produce a PCC so you should apply before the ITA comes.

My opinion is that medical and PCC for the country you currently live in should be requested only after getting the ITA.

Hi guys.

Thank you for replies.
I have been in Canada since 2006 when I was 16 from Japan.. So I would need police certificates from Japan right?

Thanks.

I believe you only need PCC from countries you have lived in from the age of 18. So, if you moved when your were 16 I don't believe you need one.
