Police Certificate is 6 months and 27 days old for applying to IEC

Hey all,

I am applying to IEC, but I have also applied to Express Entry FSW PR Visa.
From my PR application, I have a Police Report, but this was issues in October 2015, 6 months and 27 day old now.

Is this ok??? I could not find anywhere clearly where it stated for IEC how old the police certificate can be, but then finally found somewhere where it stated it needed to be issued within 6 months of application.

What should I do? I have 4 more days to submit my IEC application. A new Police Report will take around 10 working days. Not long enough.

Should I submit the old one anyway?

Should I include a Letter of Explanation, if so, what should I say?

Would appreciate your guidance.

Just to update for anyone else having this problem.
I heard back from my consultant for advice and he said to:

- Submit the old certificate
- And write a Letter of Explanation to say I am requesting a new police check/certificate and I should include screenshots of the payment and order confirmation.

So I have now submitted the IEC application as well as doing the above.
