Hi everyone,

It's my first post here. I would appreciate if someone can answer my questions.

1. I am applying PR through CEC program alone without my family in Taiwan. Since my family are not applying for PR nor coming to Canada with me, do I need to provide their police certificates from Taiwan?

2. Do all the photos need dates stamped on the back? For family members in Taiwan, can I just have the photo studio print out their ID photos?

3. For the family member information, I need to fill out my family's passport information. If their passports expired already, do they have to get new passport first? After all, they are not applying PR with me.

Thank you for your answers in advance

First, can you clarify - you have a spouse and children in Taiwan, from whom you intend to live separately on a permanent basis?

Note that while the "Additional Family Information" form asks about parents and siblings, for the purpose of co-applicants on a PR application, only immediate family (spouse, children) are considered.

I just want to be clear that you are NOT talking about parents or brothers or sisters.

Hi jes_ON,

The family members I mentioned were my parent and siblings. Do I need police certificates/photos from them?
Thank you.
