My husband and I are currently going through the document checklist and found that we need a police certificate. My husband has been living with me for a year now, we currently got married last December of 2020. Next week we are applying for spousal sponsorship.
For him to get a police certificate, it says that he needs one from the FBI since he was born in the United States. Is it possible that he can get a police certificate where I live, here in Canada? Or does he have to go through USA? They require finger prints and we are no where near the states, and don’t plan on going until next year. What do we do?
