I just got accepted into the pool for cec, my points are 438. What are my chances of getting am ita? Thank you for any help you can give

With the current trend, it is quite unlikely that the points would drop below 440 in the near future. Would suggest you to re-take the IELTS tests and max out your score (in case you haven't) or continue working at your current work place and wait until you have additional work experience (from 1 to 2 years provided you have time left in your work permit). If not, try to get a job offer supported by LMIA to gain additional points.
