Hi everyone,
I’m trying to understand a discrepancy between my official Express Entry profile and the CRS calculator on the Canada website. CRS calculator shows 433, express entry profile shows 465. Hoping someone here can clarify. To make sure im not entering wrong information and collecting extra points that i’m not eligible for.
Express entry shows (Education = 128, while cra calculator shows 120)
Express entey shows ( education under skills transferable as 50 while crs calculator shows 26)
Never married single
My education background:
• 3-year bachelor’s degree (India) – with ECA
• 2-year diploma (Canada) – completed in-person, full-time(ssw)
My profile details:
• Age: 24
• CELPIP-g: L-12, R-12, W-8, S-9
• Canadian work experience: 1 year (NOC TEER 2)
• Foreign work experience: 0
• No spouse
• No job offer
• No nomination
Express Entry profile score (official account): 465 points
Breakdown:
• Human Capital
• Age = 110
• Education = 128
• First Official Language = 122
• Canadian Work Experience = 40
• Spouse = 0
• Skill Transferability
• Education = 50 (max)
• Foreign Work = 0
• Certificate of Qualification = 0
• Additional
• Canadian Education = 15
• Total = 465
⸻
CRS Calculator (Canada.ca) result: 433 points
Breakdown:
• Human Capital
• Age = 110
• Education = 120
• First Official Language = 122
• Canadian Work = 40
• Spouse = 0
• Skill Transferability
• Education = 26 (instead of 50)
• Additional
• Canadian Education = 15
• Total = 433
⸻
The problem:
• In the CRS calculator, I selected “Bachelor’s degree (three or more years)” and then “Yes” to Canadian education → One- or two-year diploma.
• That produced only 26 points for skill transferability instead of the full 50.
• But in the actual Express Entry profile, IRCC gave her the max 50 for education transferability and 465 overall.
⸻
My question:
What is the correct way to enter this in express entry if the correct score is 433 and not 465. Or is 465 is the correct score
