All,

Does anybody know how many points in your CRS can you get if you have a relative in Canada? i.e. Cousin, Aunt

Is there any specific requirement for these relatives at the moment of creating EE profile? Does CIC ever call them for verification?

Looking forward to your feedback..

No points awarded for relatives in Canada in the CRS points system.

For FSW eligibility, you can get 5 points if you have a relative in Canada:

So,
For FSW under EE.. Is it possible to get 5 additional points for having relatives in Canada?

If you are talking about the 100 points system in which you need to get at least 67 points to qualify for FSW, then the answer is yes.

If you are talking about the CRS points system which is used to select who receives an ITA, then the answer is no.

I understand that points system for FSW (67/100) is no longer active. In this case is the CRS points for EE, which is the current one for immigrating to Canada

Your understanding is wrong. Suggest you read up on that.

Two steps for EE:

1) Qualify for an immigration program. If you want to qualify for FSW, must have 67 / 100 points.

2) Get selected from the pool and receive ITA. Selection is based on CRS points.

Clear now?

It is clear now.. I thought there was only a CRS points system for FSW, where currently it seems that the ideal score would be 400+

Me and my wife (PA) are intended to apply as FSW under EEIs there a link so I can check up if I have 67 points?

Appreciate your good feedback

No official calculator.

You can do a manual calculation based on the link I sent you above.

Or use the Come to Canada tool, but that will only tell you if you are (likely) eligible or not and won't give you the number of points you score in the FSW grid.

Certain PNPs are only open to those who has friends/relatives in the province. Therefore, instead of going for EE - you can try one of the PNPs and see how it works out.

Good luck
