POF special case

we are a family of 4 ( 2 adults & 2 kids) but I want to land in canada first to look out for house and first survival job and later on get my wife and kids to join me say after around 2-3 months.Do I have to show landing funds for 4 persons strictly or can I show for 1 person and tell the officer that since they are joining after sometime the remaining amount will be followed when they arrive OR can I show 50% of total amount of POF with me at the time of landing.
Is it acceptable kindly clear my doubt .

You have to show POF for the entire family (POF for 4 people) regardless of whether you are landing alone or accompanied by your family.
