Hi All,
Need advise on source of fund. Currently I'm residing outside of my home country and I have leased my property @ my home country.
Can the lease amount in my account be shown as POF ? This amount would stay in my account for next 5 years of lease period & there is legal contract which shows lease amount & lease period. Can I explain this in LOE with the contract documents as proof?

Appreciate your expert advice..

Thanks

Property doesn’t count as POF as stated on the website. You need to show funds that are liquid and can be easily accessed in bank or investment accounts. A contract is not POF as it could be nullified tomorrow. Also these funds aren’t all available to you know as you have to show your bank statements over a 6 month period.

Hi Naturgrl,

Thanks for the response, understand that fund should be liquid and easily accessible. In my case yes, fund is in my bank account and it will be readily accessible but my question is on the source of that fund. I received that fund by leasing my property for 5 years period and amount will be in my account (liquid cash) through out this period. If there is any questions on source, can I support my LOE with lease contract details?
Your view / advise is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Sucheth

Yes include LOE with contract details to show where funds are coming from.
