Oct 2nd, even no ghost update, still waiting

I just phoned CIC & waited for 25 min.
They said that even my security check has not been started.
oh gosh..

I think somting wrong with this security check, I am Dec 1 2017, also my friend Oct 15 applicant. My and his security not started yet....

Nov 6, I called cic and they told me security not started as well. If security check takes a lot of time to complete, why are they taking so long to start it? Anyone knows?

It usually dont change. Nobody have to worry about it.
As we see in general , they are late compared with last year. Started or not started they have a plan and also it depends a lot from the officer that has your case.

Not at all, didn’t get anything on there. No email or ‘updated profile’ update. Does this still mean ghost update? Just curious
