One of the lucky few with AR from July to get DM. Did your application get transferred to the local office after you added your spouse?
I was married before i nominated, i applied with my spouse and i comes under skilled worker stream.
I suspect PEI applicants get faster processing than other provinces. I remember there is a policy.
PEI processing times are not faster. He applied under Skilled Express Entry, which takes an average of 6 months. And not under the normal provincial stream, which can take up to 18 months.
I applied under skilled worker stream paper based application not express entry & i think it's not right that PEI has faster processing. Processing varies case by case and according to VCO. i know number of people who applied from SK, AB & ON got their PR under 12 months. However at my work place i know 3 of my colleagues waiting for their PPR since 14 months now.
So it depends and i also haven't got any PPR or landing interview yet. Just showing DM on ecas since wed. May 6th 2020.
Do you guys think that cic has a "work at home" system? Because before covid lockdown, my progress bar shows 51%, and now it's already 62%. No ghost updates.
