1) We received your application for permanent residence on November 4, 2014.
2) We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 8, 2015.
3) We started processing your application on April 8, 2015.
4) We sent you medical instructions on April 10, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon
as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
5) Medical results have been received.

January 11 2016 ECAS updated to DM.

Looking forward to receive COPR in the mail asap.

I actually started my process in 2013, it took longer for the province of Manitoba to process my provincial nomination than most people. By the time I had applied with CIC, I had already experienced an extended wait.

I had no clue all this would take 2 1/2 years, and I had even submitted an application to CIC directly in 2009 that failed so this is my second permanent residency application. I've been at this many, many years.

It takes an endless amount of time my friend, endless amounts. You absolutely have to go about your business in your current life without expectations to maintain that sanity, so I've learned. My thoughts are with you and I'll send you positive energy and hope you get DM and everything finalized soon!
