Hi All,

Congratulations to all the applicants who got theirs medical req. today.

I am April 29th inland applicant, haven't received my MR yet , should i expect it soon?

Also can i check that online> ? since my consultant is out of country right now so i don't know if she got the email yet or no.

Also i am smoker, will that affect my medical results?

For some it appears online on the updates of the communication but its not consistent and its not within few days as it takes lot of days sometimes. its better your consultant checks email soon as i think april batch was few days ago. So let her check the email (incl spam/junk folder) to verify if there is any email from cic for you.

But it might be that cic is yet to cover all april applicants. check in april thread to see if any pending applicants.

Ya at least you are worried about the smoking habit now . No issues on it buddy. I believe 30% of applicants would be anyway.

Congrats everyone whoever got MR. I too got it. May 29th applicant. Looks like they sent for all May applicant as my date was 29th which was also covered.

Yes buddy. Received it today afternoon. Finally one step is over. Hopefully we get the pcc reminder email too this month as CIC is fast , at least in Jan. Let us see.

oh yaa.. big sign of relief & I decided today no more smoke lol.. I have submitted my pcc upfront, what do you think how much time more should it take before passport call? 3-4 months max?

I too think so the same 4 months. But for some reason for some applicants they took few months for ppr after DM. Hopefully its only 3-4 months. They are yet to clear 2014 last quarter applications hence doubtful but if cic works in its speed like this then we will easily get it in few months.

Yes its possible as long as cic is in the same speed of working. They were slow in issuing MRs for March applicants. This time i think till May is completed (hopefully). So your turn is in 2 weeks.

Hi friends,

I got medical request yesterday and want to know if I can use the upfront medical that I got done in April 2015 for my work permit extention. Can anyone please suggest if I have to do a new one one now or the same should work?? The old one has a UMI # and in this request they send IMM1017E form which has completely different #s. Plz help!!

got my medical today , applied may 5th.

However I have already given them a upfront medical , as I was also applying through EE.

I guess I am gonna send in a CSE.

I have same situation. I sent them an upfront Med. test along with my application last May! Do I need to do it again or there is a way to communicate with them?
