Hi

A quick question: if CIC Requests additional files, will it reflects in the ECAS? or just via Email?

Recently they've been adding a line to ECAS saying something like "we sent you correspondence on....." when additional docs have been requested. The update doesn't always appear the same day as you get the email though (but will be dated the same as the email when it does finally show up).

If you get this line but had no email, I would suggest calling CIC.

Thanks for your reply. I got email from CIC asking PCC a few weeks ago ( I submitted PCC with application package), but I didn't see it in my ECAS. So I assume they may have my PCC, and I can ignore their email.

WOW. Your timeline has been fabulous compared to others! God, if only I'd sent my application a week earlier...!

I sent police certificates from the Winnipeg Police and from the police back in the UK along with my application. It was waiting for those certificates to be processed that delayed me sending my application to CIC.

I strongly suspect my file will be processed in Sydney, rather than in Ottawa, or anywhere else for that matter. That said though, all I have to go on is suspicions, and the experiences of others.

I'll just have to hope that they get their arses in gear, and speed things up a bit!

I am just woundering about ecas. Yesterday me and my friend are just checking our ecas and we observe one wierd thing. He is May 2015 applicant and i am June 2015 applicant. He got his EP on 31 july and i got on 17 august but still both of us are waiting for medical. Now yesterday on my ecas the status shows me "Inprocess" with 3 lines in there (1. Application received.... 2. Send EP.... 3. Process started)

But my friend who is may applicant and july EP ecas status shows "Application received" with just one line we received you application on .... date

Is there any changes CIC had made between may and june applicants.

I got my EP on 17th June.

Still no updates on my ECAS. It only shows 'Application Received'.

Still no MR too.

Honestly, I dont know of any tips, I just made sure I have filled the forms properly and remembered to sign and I had sent a complete package with all police clearances from the countries me and my husband stayed

It s really fast your case! Probably your NOC is in demand. What is the job you do if not a secret and where are you from? Nepal?

Hello Mrs PR, i think he is talking about Canadian police check. Did you send it together with your application? I know you said that you had sent your police clearances from other countries. Congratulations on your PR.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, when did you receive your AINP nomination?

I sent both my husband's and my RCMP with the application, but all of sudden, CIC asked my husband to submit his RCMP, should I just ignore or send another one ? Thanks

We need to wait till they ask for it. Mostly the applications would be at sydney. These guys provide some separate postal/email/fax address to receive the documents.
I too need to send pcc, eagerly waiting for the mail/reminder email.

Hello Friends,

My file was received by CIO on 31st July,2015.
I am eagerly waiting for the file number.
Normally they say we should get AOR in 2 months.

Has any July 2015 Inland applicant received AOR?

Does anyone has any idea how long it takes to get file number these day?

Yup. My application was received at the end of May, AOR received in August, ECAS says 'in process'. Now we wait. February people are getting their medical requests. May people will probably be in around 3 months. So... just after Christmas?

Hi,
You must hv received application number starting with XEP. Use the same number but remove 'X' and put your number starting with EP in the ECAS and you should be able to see your application. It would say "We received your application on ------"
FYI, I also hv the same case. Just one email with file#, nothing after that.

I believe cic is sleeping or everybody playing game on xbox or playstation. They are not intrested process our application. I think they are enjoying our patients.
