i am sept 20 inland applicant, called CIC they told me that they are having background check and if i didn't heard anything from them till march, i need to call them back.
i am really worried . Is it possible to get BG check before MR?

Did you do medical exam before ? like for work permit or study permit

ya i did upfront medical 8 months ago , but didn't heard anything for medical request this week as all of Sept, Nov ppl got MR.
Do i need to get worried as i haven't got medical and my BG check is going on?

if you already sent upfront medical for PR application then why are you expecting MR again.

your CIC account showed " you passed medical exam " , right ?

you should know from your medical status if its already passed you wont get MR .And people who are getting MR because they sent their upfront medical few days or a month before .And in your case its been 8 months . I'm not sure though but it can happen

No I didn't get any notification last week because I did upfront medical
