Please is there any July or August 2016 applicant that has background check changes from in progress to not need at this time and is that sign of medical request coming soon?

I am September Aplplicant, AOR on December, 2 weeks ago I was ask for updated Schedule A and RPFR before March 7. Today my Background change from In process to Not Need it at this time... DOcuments request still in Provided Status... NO MR yet...

Yes, July applicant. Received MR on 22nd Dec and RPRF request 2 days later. Waiting on PPR now. Hopefully soon.

my case is, I added my common-low in between and our new born as well. They requested certain documents on 21st December 2016, and submitted the same on 20th January 2017. When I checked with the IRCC call Center they said file is in Colombo office now. After that no news. The interview mentioned up there, was conducted earlier on November, but it still says 'We need to schedule an interview with the applicant''. Any expert advice on this please.

Hello Guys,

My paper based pnp file was received by cic on Sept. 1/2016 and i got file no. on Dec. 20/2016. After getting file number, I'd successfully linked this application to myCIC account. However, after that 'Express Entry' option is not coming under 'What would you like to do today?'. I'm eligible for express entry and want to make profile. So confused now. Does this also happened to anyone else?. Please share. Please also give me advice. Thank you.

Service standard

IRCC’s goal is to process all paper applications under the Provincial Nominee Program within 11 months. This does not include the time it takes the province to process. In order to process an application, we must have all information and supporting documents.

This service standard was implemented in September 2011 and revised in March 2015 to include applications from “base” nominees who did not apply via Express Entry.

Performance target
IRCC aims to meet the service standard 80 percent of the time.

Performance results
From April 2015 to March 2016, the service standard of 11 months was met 42 percent of the time. 80 percent of applications were processed in 17 months or less. Processing times increased as older cases in the inventory were being finalized. Newer cases are expected to be finalized in 2017.

Again, checked the update on 3rd Feb 2017, status has not changed, it's same as mentioned above. Please let me know why CIC is taking so much of time in processing PNP application (Express Entry)? Almost end of 5th month !!

Application Package Received on Dec, 9 2016
AOR Received on Feb, 10 207

I have doubt, If I go to work overseas while waiting for the PR it will affect my process or have problem with the approval? I have my work permit valid until Nov 2018.

Other question, my wife have the medical valid until april, do you think that because i already have the AOR i can send the medicals upfront?

I submitted my RPRF receipt by Case Specific Enquiry too, but the status of Review of submitted documents is still blank. is it normal? or yours changed into Provided?

Just follow Case Specific Enquiry link, you will be asked to fill in UCI, Application Number, DoB, Full Name etc., before enclosing your pdf receipt.

Hi ImmiGoal,

After 3rd Feb 2017, did not check the status because for checking the status I need to ask my immigration lawyer every time. As of now, not received any mail from CIC. Waiting for "Final Decision" and "PPR" !!
