Which visa office is processing your PR application?

CIC received 23rd of Sep 2016, still waiting for AOR...!!

Is receiving AOR compulsory? have heard that many of them got passport submission request without AOR

I think this is new ammendment, which we don't know. Thanks clever man.

I had to apply for a closed work permit which it got approved after 1 month of restoration process. Just wondering now should I send a update about my previous work permit refusal to CIC now that I got AOR.

How long it took for you to get the closed work permit ? I mean, the total processing time including the restoration step? When did you apply for your restoration and closed work permit and when did you get it?

That's what mine looked like recieved today as well but not able to view online and I couldn't link online before either I'm not sure why...

My app was received on sep 23 and I got this your type of mail on dec 23 which I think is AOR. I was able to link my account online with the file# given in the mail. it shows review of eligibility and background check in progress.

I think u have some good contracts in CIC. They returned mine due to this reason.

if your NOC code for getting AINP nomination is O, A or B you do not need IELTs , is only NOC C that needs IELTS

Actually I am SINP nominated, my NOC is B type .

1 month in total. Applied on October 4th and got approved on November 4th.

I applied for my closed work permit on sept 8 and it was approved on Oct 5th. The online application for this is around one month while paper is around 3 months based on trend

. Congrats! What does it look like when you get an AOR? I got an email from CIC today saying that my application for PR in Canada has been received by CIC on 2016/10/07. When I log in to my CIC account (where I linked my application), it says review in progress. Does that mean I have my AOR now and my application is in progress?? Thanks!

yes it is the AOR.i recieved the same

Ok so after trying and trying and trying I finally got the application linked online I used the application # and family name and that did the trick FINALLY ;D
