December 2015 Applicants that are still waiting for PPR. Do you guys mind sharing your nationality. I am Lebanese and i guess that is why my application is taking more time.

I am jan 29, 2016 applicant. I had my medical and everything done already. I added my wife to my application on feb 18, 2017. Then on 29 March our background check changed from "not applicable" to "in process", and also medical exam changed from "medical passed" to "reviewing the results of medical exam". And it is same since then. Waiting for DM and PPR

Hi friends,
My application was received on feb 08 2016, added spouse details when I sent my application to CIC. Medical received in October and on nov 18 it appeared medical results have been received om cic website, is it normal to wait more than 5 months after medicals? I have a representative so I cannot see my application details through my CIC account but anyway my 16 months timeline will end on june 8. In my case got medical early hopefully PPR will be with feb batch.

I really think that anyone that did not pass the 16 month timeframe should not be worried and should not be checking his account every second hour or calling CIC/ emailing etc..

For those who passed the 16 month mark (myself included), did contacting the MP actually help ?

Yes. CIC order background clearance from multiple organizations. If you passed 16 months waiting, contact your MP, so your MP may help asking CiC to proceed urgently
