FYI: January 14th - MR status changed to "In Progress" + received MR e-mails right away -> yesterday (January 15) sent them a reminder through Case-spec form that we have already done upfront e-Medicals on Dec 19 (results were sent to IRCC on Dec 31st) -> status changed to "Passed" today.
Maybe (& hopefully) that means that upfront e-Medicals do speed up processing.. We'll see I guess.

Not everybody from Jan Feb March if you ask me. Myself applied in Feb and no MR till date. Asked for additional documents on Jan 7th and provided on 11th since then no update. In myaccount cic Background In Progress from forever.

What additional doc did they ask??
Do they ask for new background check??

Please for someone that moved to Canada more than 4 years now, Do we need to send a police certificate for Canada or just for the country that we have lived more than 6 months?

U need pcc from *Canada* and from *every country where u lived more than 6 months* since the age of 18

Same with me my work permit will expire in March. No updates yet. Applied my PR Mar 2016. Did upfront medical. Waiting to submit my criminal background based on fingerprints.

You nees to renew work permit for sure just to be covered with status in canada while u get residence

Hello peeps!
i got a question for all senior applicants.
applied AINP approved PR application in august 2016. Got AOR.
I'm thinking to change my employer. Can PNP approved canadidates change their jobs?
I had applied under EDS(employer driven stream) of AINP but the nomination says no job restrictions.
Is anyone out thr who changed their job and process went smoothly?

Yeah it does say the employer and business name on it.
but just in next column under job restriction says no.

Can't you just apply for bridge work permit? Your AOR should allow you to do so if you are waiting for PR within Canada.
