For what I know visa exempt country applicants don't have to send the passports but just copies.. they receive COPR exactly for this reason..

No worry. If you're the family applicant, It takes more time.
I know a family from South Korea, they took 3 weeks after DM


I am single
Got DM on March 7 and got PPR on 8
I sent a copy of the Passport on 8.
The Xpresspost delivered in Ottawa yesterday

I got DM on March 2nd and no ppr yet. I too have one dependent on my file. GCMS notes show all passed except security. I don't think there would be any issue. Lets see when lady luck smiles at us!! Fingers crossed

I totally forgot to check the GCMS which I got in Nov,2015 .It says medical,eligibility are passed ,criminality in process and security not started.

One more question guys,when you get PPR the two photos they requested are the same size as the Canadian passport photo?

One question, we got medical reques and In the email it says that make sure to have eye glass if you ware them? do you guys think there will be eye examanation. I am asking this cause I never wear eye glass but currently i got a bit difficulty of reading from distance. Do you guys think that will affect the result? what do you guys think we have to do before the examanation ?

Hi!! my timeline is too awful. my application was received by cic on Jan 5, 2015, had my medical on May 28, 2015, paid my RPRF on July 2015, then CIC requested for an additional document on September 16, 2015 which I submitted right away and received by the cic on sep 28, 2015. and yet until now, my status in still "in Process"..Almost on its 15 months by April 5..so devastating
