Guys. Need your help.
Have you submitted fingerprints along with PR application? I had a police clearance stated I have no history of crime and bla bla bla. But I haven't submitted my fingerprints. Please share your experience

hey,
some people submitt fingerprints while appling P.R, but it is not necessary that we have to submitt. CIC demand it later for finger prints from only those whom they think is necessary. so, if they need for you they will ask for it from you or may be they never ask for it, if they will be satisfied with other things.

I got my XEP number- Cic received 27 of March.

now I'm trying to apply for open work permit, I check my eligibility , but I was surprised , it says I need to pay 255$ for open work permit. It's correct ? Or I chose something wrong? Help me

Hello guys,

I'd like to share the following situation with you and receive any possible guidance. A friend of mine from India residing in Argentina just received his medical request and in the letter the embassy also needs him to explain why his last name is not written neither in his passport nor in his birth certificate. In the line of his name in both documents, it shows the name and last name altogether and the line of the last name in blank. To his surprise, he never realized of that until yesterday. He went to the Indian embassy in Argentina to see if they can amend it but he got a refusal. He is now thinking on writing a letter back to the Mexican embassy explaining this is clearly a mistake and he does not have any other official document to show the correct names on the correct lines.

This is why I come to you for your help, has this ever happened to anyone of you? If so, how did you solve it? Has anyone of you got the visa rejected because of this? I am 100% sure this is not a cause for such action and I believe there is a solution out there you can share. Maybe the letter explaining the situation is enough and there is no need to worry.

That is sad...
anyways, there used to be a friend of mine..once he was submitting application online...the system was not accepting it bcz we were leaving the last name option blank...bcz he had only one name...he got worried...
then personally what i did for him: i wrote his first and last name the same ,e.g."Gurdev" and "Gurdev"...the system accepted the application and we easily validated it...however, we never wrote any explanation letter with it bcz we presumed that they ll know about it...and the application was successful... later, we contacted the foreign office for that for future issue with such names..they suggested us that, it would be a good idea to write the last name either the family name or the last name of the father...
i hope it will help...him....just tell him to reapply and explain the situation why in some regions ppl keep only one name and explain that for documentation purposes we write the last name of the father...also, visa office can reject it, bcz they submit the application online to ottawa or any of their offices, and when the name validation is getting failed (system not allowing) obviously they refuse the applications..

I also has the same question. If you are a Outland applicant how could you get MR from local visa office that quickly? Are you in canada now?

Also can you Please share the email address you received your XEP, EP, and MR.
