One of March applicant got PPR. Manila VO
I noticed that few of fast approved applications just took around 2 months from Medicals. So they have ability to approve in 2 months once they have everything but not every office does that. And visa offices like Manila does that great job. So its good for you. You can get your DM in 2 months. Good luck :).

But many other visa offices delay unnecessary by not collecting necessary information on time (they send reminder emails (not even actual verified emails particular to candidate) after 2-4 months which is not even coming in regular intervals to make sure visa office gets documents from the applicants who have it ready in 1-2 months). So for each step of MR, PCC and additional documents, they take 2 months to request and another 2 months to get back to that file to verify and the worst thing is that they go sequentially asking for one thing at a time even though they know that they need everything for 99% of the applications together.

Anyway this is the story for many other offices like ottawa which i am in :o.

Hi Guys, I am a new member on this forum. I have got the same reminder email as you all got but I already paid my RPRF upfront and submitted all the documents when I applied in January. So should I just ignore this email? or CIC will send me an another email if they require any other documents? Thanks.

Read the email carefully and make sure everything you sent was perfect. I found out that I mistakenly forgot to mention 3 months gap of traveling in my personal 10 year history section. Make sure you didn't miss anything and if that is the case just ignore the email. Good Luck:)

To All the Inland Applicants,

There is absolutely no point on comparing our time line to outland applicants. Every country has different processing times and every application is different. Outland applicants countries such as Philippines and Brazil are most of the time coming to Canada under very high demand blue collar jobs and given preference over others. Also, the Canadian consulates outside Canada are staffed differently and might have more support in terms of processing and reviewing application.

Let's Go Inland:)

Hey maxy81, I happened to ask a question similar to your 3 months travel issue in this thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/schedule-a-addresses-time-spent-traveling-with-no-fixed-address-t342418.0.html

Can you tell me more about your situation there? Did you just mistakenly leave a time gap, or did you just have no details there and CIC asked you to provide full info of where you were traveling?

Hello Guys! I need some help. I applied for AINP last October 2014 under Employer Driven Stream Semi-Skilled Worker. Unfortunately, my application was declined because of lack of experience. I was advised to reapply on March 2015 but until now, I haven't received my nomination or AINP certificate yet and my work permit will expire this September. I just wanna know if I could still be possibly given a certificate when I am on implied status? Will they ask for a valid new work permit or LMIA? What will happen if I can't provide one? I heard lots of ideas so I am little bit confused. Thanx in advance for the help.

Call AINP's office. They can definitely advise you. wish you all the best. Did you atleast get an email from AINP saying that they received your application? In order to apply for new work permit, you either need LMIA or exemption from LMIA.

For some reason, i can't post links. Google - CIC LMIA exemptions and it will take you to CIC's page.

Cheers.

not sure with your case but all of my friends got their nomination before their work permit expiry date even processing time was 18-24 month but they got it in 8-9 months. What I heard was that person whose wp is expiring is on their priority list
