Hi, Does rcmp fingerprint request is applicable for inland applicants?

It seems only a small portion of applicants got rcmp fingerprint request.

But sorry I am outland hence not much known about rcmp. So I still want to know if they ask for just fingerprints for their own search of records or fingerprint based search report report from RCMP?

I think they ask for rcmp fingerprints to those who doesn't have last name or surname on passport. Second their last name match with someone who have criminal record.. I submitted it with my application
