Hi ihave one question. Was anybody in my situation? My husband has daughter in home country . She is 14.
We are witing now for MR. 100% they will ask for MR for her also. So what if her mother doesnt allowe her to do MR for us. I mean she is crazy woman and just she dont want to help us. She is just looking how to make us problems. So what then if she will not do a medical?

If that's the case don't tell her and send your daughter with some close friend or relative for medical

Thank you all...hope everybody in this forum get things done faster...

Hello Everybody,

Thanks a lot for this helpful form.

I got email from CIC for passport request today and I would like to share my timelines:

Application received by CIC: Jan-29

Medical received: May-27

In process: cannot remember this but probably 3 months after Medical.

Additional doc request: Oct 1

now still in process and:

today in the morning I receive an email from CIC ask me send my passport to them. Title of the email is :Ready for Visa: (seems still "in process")

I havent seen decision made from beginning till now passport sent out. I paid 1040 CAD in advance at the beginning of my application , not 500+ first and after decision made another 500.

I hope everybody here a good luck and get your good news very soon.

SUP 17 IWAS THINKING about that. but in my country is only one doctor who works for CIC, and is 500km from our town. so probably that will take almost all day. so she will know that something is happening

Well if all the things can get done in one day then let it go for one day make some excuse etc

You can add her as non accompanying dependant

YES WE ALLREADY added her like NON ACCOMPANYING dependant. but for some their reason even if she is not coming here before 18bday they want her medical. so does anybody know what will be with us and our PR if she will not do that
