Still waiting my PR Card..

I see you were a AbuDhabi visa office applicant. I have seen timelines of many others they are quite scary as they show long waiting for each step but ur one is different as you didn't have to wait much for the MR and PPR.
Any idea why there's a difference. I mean if you could tell that how the Visa offices work like?
As I am also under the same VO and waiting for the file transfer mail yet.

Sorry to ask such. I do not mean that I do not trust you. Your answer will not only get me motivated but also many others in this forum who have similar status

it took them more than a month to update medical received on our CAS. The doctors from where you have taken your medicals will not submit the total results if you have health problems or anybody included in your application. They will notify you for additional test to confirm some underdetermined issues on your health and to all family members included in your application. After everything is settled and cleared, I think that's the time then they will update your CAS into medical received. This is my idea basing from the experience of my co workers and some applicants before.

In fact, my ECASE got updated with "medical received" just 5 days (including Sat and Sun) after the day that the last family member has completed medical exam

My medical received took 1.5 months to get updated in ECAS.

Medical results have been received


Whats the next step after getting medical received. It updated in my ecas last month.

I You were paid RPRF and submitted all required Police clearance certificates, next step is passport request for issuance a visa.

But, if you did not what I mentioned above they will ask to provide them firstly.


I am same as stage and waiting for PPR for visa. my time line are those.

I did a medical ad sent required documents and paid RPRF and waiting for PPR.

March 26 applicants here and still waiting for the MR as well.
If i look from the google spreadsheet for inland applicants seem Alberta is moving faster than from other provinces.

Hi everyone

My PG work pemit gets expire so i applied paper application for extension of my PG work permit as my previous work permit was issued till the expiry of my passport. Because i am applying for the extension of PG work permit i only can submit paper application, this what CIC call centre agent guide me. Now it has been 30 day but i havn't got any confrimation that weather my application is received or not. Most if CIC request for any document it don't have anything to provide them. (Only payment recipt). My driving license is getting expire and SGI are not renewing my license till i will provide them any confirmation from CIC. My employer is kind of cool guy so i am good with that.

Any suggestion or comments are welcome.

Got request for additional documents today (a) Police certificate from Canada with fingerprints and (b) proof of medical completion

It must be in the email which they sent it to you because in my case they gave me an option to send my police certificate either by mail or email. They provided me specific email I.D. but schedule A they ask me to send by mail only.
