Good morning folks, just received my medical request this morning, well, not exactly mine, since I did one when renewing my work permit last July. it is a request for my wife.

timeline here:
application submitted, Dec 14, 2017
AOR: March 01, 2018
Medical request: June 01 2018

what is gonna happen after my wife's medical? anyone? thanks.

they will review your eligibility and criminality. then they will move on to Security. this last stage can be very lengthy. For instance, a lot of people have been sitting in this stage for 3-5 months.

I am just wondering your Noc level on your employment if you would not mind to share. If also possible, did federal IRCC contact your employer any time to verify during the PR Process? May i know under which category u applied for ainp? Your medical request was pretty quick. I am going through posts where people gets MR after a year or more.

It was Post Graduate Worker (SRS).

Hi ngal, if you call the call center, press 3 - 4 - 1 - 0. It takes you to the student visa section but it doesn't matter because it finally gives you the option to speak to an agent without asking any personal information. Sometimes you have to call a couple of times to actually get through. Some say it is best to phone early in the mornings. Good luck!

Hi, question for you... how did you guys know that eligibility and criminality is passed? Like it doesn’t say on online account or ecas? Do u guys call cic?
