u can leave a job, but u need to tell province and explain why u leave, and find other job in same positions and let them know.

Well, if it says no employment restriction then you are good, just find another job in same position and inform them. you wont have to start all over again.

im under employer driven streem with ainp.
i got aor and have problem eith employer.
called ainp and cic asking about it.
they told me find other job and get job offer and send them.
i did. and get medical pass now.

There are few types of nomination under which are specifically employer driven for eg. Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program: Employer Job Offer Stream under which you cannot change job until you get pr. If you have nomination letter which states 'employer restricted' or you have a 'closed work permit' then you cannot change job until you get your pr.

Hi,
My application was received on March 26th, and still no AOR for me either.
I think it's a good thing that we haven't had any documents returned, but does seem to be quite a long wait.
I read the average time for AOR is 4 - 8 weeks. I am now in the 9th week so hopeful that AOR is on its way.
I've been trying to call them all day for an update but no luck getting through.
Good luck and let us know if you're AOR arrives.
