me too. maybe they are doing them in batches as well?
I called CIC couple of days ago and they told me they are working on my security.
and today the agent told me that my security is not started yet. Not sure which one to believe.

Did you ask the first agent to check if your security check has been initiated?

then I don't know who to believe :(
I would probably call them again.
And she was very rude. it sounded like she don't want to answer any of my questions .All the time she told me that processing time is 18 months.
The agent i talk to couple of days ago was very nice and patient. he answered all the questions and even suggested me not to order more GCMS notes so that my security can he done ASAP. He suggested that requesting GCMS notes can slower down the application process.

yes, they say that all the time :( at one point I even said to one of the agents that when I had applied the processing time was 14 months so it's really hard to find comfort in changing timeframes.

Thanks for the info about the notes. I've also decided to stop ordering them.
