It took almost 13 months for me but from what I know they are trying to process all the applications faster now. You can now expect RPRF soon (but you can also pay upfront).

hi there everyone,
I got 1st MR Feb 28,2018 it doesn't have IME and my Medical done on March 6,2018.
I received another MR March 12, 2018 it has IME on it.
My dependent abroad still have colds and taking medicines and cannot go for her medical yet until she's clear of colds.
Question is which one will I consider the Expiration of the Med.Request? The 1st or 2nd Request?
and what is the confirmation I need to upload to update CIC I (principal) have done my medical? Is it the physician will submit the result to cic or I have to do it as well?

Since u already did medical, maybe you should call CIC and clarify. Else you are gonna have to pay again.

I got MR on Feb 28, 2018 and no IME on it.
Did medical Mar 1, 2018 and by Mar 9, my CIC was updated to medical passed.

I havent gotten any other MR Request.

I am trying to call cic 18882422100 but i couldn't reach them just voice prompted.
I am also thinking since my dependent were not yet done with her medical so my cic account would not show "Submitted" ?

I’ve just read it in another thread, somebody way saying that they are now starting background check before asking for medicals which suppose to make the process faster. Also, many of my friends (that applied months later that me) have been getting MR, RPRF or AOR way faster then me

Hi guys

I applied for PNP PR paper based application(inside Canada) and received medical request for that today.

I already did my medical for express entry as well. My question is that how can I use the same medical for paper based.

Thanks in advance

It depends on how old your medical exam is. It expires after 12 months, so you can use it if it hasn’t expired yet.

Could you share your timeline please?
