Anyone tried applying for Express Entry with your current application in progress?

Hi MarsiaMS,

We have the same timeline. But I am an Inland-AB PNP.

I just complete my 52 weeks Canadian work experience, I submitted my EE profile today and got 472 points. I created a new CIC account to create my EE profile.

Its really frustrating. Only GOD can save us.
Is your application is inland and is it sponsored by your company.

It shows background check is in process and medicals have been received as I have submitted my medicals up-front.

so it looks like it worth to do your medicals up front? is it save sometime? I've read somewhere that for some reason it isn't recommended upfront - but I don't know why. it is great if it is saving time - I would do it than too:)))
thanks

Hi Denyl, hi Marsia

I am going to do the same in this October - it will be exactly 1 year work in Canada and I will have about 439 points.

Now I am inland paper based applicant BC PNP, skilled worker stream.

Application received 11th of August 2017.
Nothing afterwards, its too early I believe.

I am afraid to connect my paper based application to my online account as I've read in this forum that it can cause the problem afterwards to submit EE profile.

Denyl - has you connected your paper based with online and afterwards no issues with EE profile?

thanks!

Awesome, you will be nvited soon with that score!
Did you withdraw your paper application before applying for EE? If not, how did you do it and how did you manage to create another CIC account? Isn't it tied to your UCI, passport number, bank account etc?

No, I did not withdraw my paper application. I just created a new CIC account. One of my account is tied with a sign-in partner and one is with GCKey. Yes, both of them are tied to all the same info.

HI AlexandraO,

My paper based application is currently linked to my online account. Then after that I could not see the Express Entry button for me to be able to create my profile. So I decided to create a new CIC account to submit my EE profile.
