Yeah me neither.
Its been 5 months since I passed my medicals. Application rec Oct 2017. 15months already going to 16months. I have been tempted to request for gcms notes but I keep cautioning myself. The wait is frustrating and killing. But hopefully we will get a DM in February.
Same .. .Its already 15 months. Why are you cautious about the GCMS notes? I confirmed it over the phone with IRCC and they said there is no harm in requesting GCMS. Mine last ones were in OCT, I have requested them again 2 days back.

Ya I understand. I will just wait. At least I got very small goodnote from cic call center agent that all assessments done and passed. It's in queue for further message.
Well.. I do not think GCMS delays the processing. Infact, I feel its other way around. I requested on July 3rd and there was a ghost update on account on July 20 which later turned out that criminality has been passed. i felt like GCMS has triggered an update. It also make sense, you never know if there is a process which has been completed and the document is just sitting there, once the officer/agent received the request to release the notes they might see that and meanwhile they are opening up the file they might update that as well. Just a theory you never know what the actual process is, everyone have had different experience.

Wow!! Congratulations. So happy for you. I trust your PPR will come this week hopefully. We almost shared same timeline as my application was received Oct 23 17 and AOR Dec 21 2017, only that my medical was slow as it was send to my spam and I didn’t passed until Sept. I hope It doesn’t delay my own DM too much as it has been 5 months already I passed medicals.

If you don’t mind I have some questions, please did you get a mail for the DM or just a change on your profile? And are you single applicant inland or Outland?

Our medicals expire on April 13th, they requested it, it’s not upfront. Will they extend it automatically if we won’t get ppr before expiration?

As far as I know medical needs to be valid during landing as well. So I guess either they'll extend or request for redo.
