Sit tight.... June 12 people are getting ppr. If all good you will be getting it in 2 weeks. Just don't bother employer but ask him not to call pnp office. I am July 12 applicant. Good luck to both
Been in canada for over 5 years....i have Closed work permit with employer restrictions exp 2019 sep....applied for Pr application through pnp programme

july 2017 application
March 2018 medicals done

expecting ppr next month.
Got fired from my job.

I cannot work with closed work permit. Please advice what to do.

Will this affect my pr application, should i be informing cic or pnp office about it. Scared to death. Please help.

just realized we were in similar situation. since we are at the final stage, I think they won't pull our application due to being laid off or fired. I was wondering if we can staying without a work permit during waiting for PPR.

Congratulations! My medical was complete April 12 so I'm hoping I'm not too far behind. What's next in the process? When do you get you PR card? Or is it all in your passport?

You'll receive your PPR first, then you'll send your passport to get it stamped from VISA office, once you get that, you'll get you CoPR with passport, then you'll do your landing process, after that you'll get you PR Card after about 2 months.

Hi everyone,

I have been waiting for 2 months and they send back application package because of missing Schedule 4.
They made a red cross mark on my Generic Application (IMM 0008), Photos, and Reciept.
Should I make a payment and take a photo again? (My photo was taken on July 21 so it still valid in 6 months)

Thank you!

Hello guys, I Just called cic agent and he told me that my file is in last stage of security..

Can any body tell me when i can expect PPR?

Last stage of security is the longest. It's been 4 months already for me in that last stage, lol. They are giving PPR to end of June applicants right now, so you can have an idea based on your own timeline.

can you please give me more detail about how you extend your work permit at the border? what do I need? and How long it takes? Thank you in advance.
Only closed WP is possible at border. For BOWP you need to apply through online.
You need
1. Valid PNP nomination & workpermit support letter
2. Employer compliance fee receipt
3. LMIA expetemtion code generated by service canada
4. Vaild passport
5. $155 Fee
and most importantly you should valid TRV for re-entry in to the Canada.

For me it took around 2-hours. Because we are family(me, spouse and child)

Me got 2-closed WP, my spouse got 2- OWP & Child got 2-years visitor visa.

Wish you Good luck.
