PNP- PR ( CIC applicants SEPTEMBER and OCTOBER 2015)

I have been following this thread like forever, and I decided to create an user to contribute. I gotta say it was a nightmare to create an user due to "banned from this forum" error, but alas it is working now!

So I am a September 25 applicant, and I got my latest GCMS notes today.

Location: PACE
Group Name ACE-JW-53
Group :1-A90NA9Q

Elegibility assed
Security :Blank (with an S.21 in the left corner)
Criminalityassed
Medical assed

Just Like Roaring Panters I got a note at the bottom of my report which states:
File reviewed, No apparent A35/37 concerns evident.


Here my main concern is the S.21 and S.26 note in the right top corner of some pages. As far as I understand those are reasons as why there is some information hidden in the report. I am just not sure if everyone have this S.21 and S.26. According to another Forum Thread, the regular Note should be S.15(1). What kind of notes does other have, if any?

On the first link, it will take you to the section 19 in the bottom of the page. This section, should redirect you to the second link, section 8. Where it says:

8 (1) Where a government institution receives a request for access to a record under this Act and the head of the institution considers that another government institution has a greater interest in the record, the head of the institution may, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed by regulation, within fifteen days after the request is received, transfer the request and, if necessary, the record to the other government institution, in which case the head of the institution transferring the request shall give written notice of the transfer to the person who made the request.

What I understand is that they might had gathered some information related to you government and thus they consider inappropriate to disclose it. Remember this is a public document, and someone else might have access to it.

Does it mean anything negative? I am worried. Since it is already 15 months.

You dont have to worry, as long as your file location is PACE your application is good and just waiting for final review (PPR)

Firstly Great job Crisgov and really want to thank you for your time on the list.

There is one of my colleague who has applied for PR through AINP.But immediately after applying the PR he has to leave the province as he has a close WP(Intra company transferee) and he got transferred to Nova scotia and now he is moving to another province .THough he went passed medical but still worried.and he cannot change job right now to settle in Alberta as his WP is tied with a specific employer and AINP is empolyer restricted.

He has informed CIC about every movement. Can you please thorw some light on this. Is this a case which can be rejected or may get into complicacy

Hi, thanks a lot for creating this. I updated my info in the table. Also I think it is the group name that is probably related to the order of getting PPR not the group itself... I do not have group name yet, but my GCMS notes say my application is assigned to "JW00205".

Visa office requires the following information/documents:

• Written explanation regarding details of activities and whereabouts during the following periods of unemployment (Schedule A , Personal History)

a. February 2012 toJanuary2014

b. September 2003 to January 2004

All requested documents, unless specifically instructed to submit an original, should be sent as an email attachment.

I don't know if you guys have noticed this. But these days, when you call CIC regarding the status. If the application has not crossed 16 months of processing, they just tell you to wait till that. And they don't actually tell you where the application is at.

Even if you ask them specifically, they don't tell you anything unless the application has crossed 16 months.
