My friend his background check changed to in progress Oct 21 and got PPR 18th Nov.
So there's big window anywhere from 20 days to 2 months after background check in progress.

I am same to you Jovie my background changed to in progress since May, I did my medical last Jan and now they asked for medical reassessment and no PPR.
Waiting endless.

Did your medical showed Passed in the MY cic after which the reassessment request came.

Not yet Shanty it was passed since I linked my application on May and surprisingly changed after 7 November to we need more information, I don't know how long does it take this reassessment.
Please if you know anything about it tell me.

Last Saturday we got a notice that our work permit was renewed for 2 more years. Today we got our PPR!!! Finally, a bit too late because we can't get the money we spent on renewing the WP but hey! We are now one tiny step closer to be permanent residents!

Personally, I spend lots of time in this forum to track activities & updates in pnp related threads everyday.
It's been sometimes now that there is nothing exciting here.
Still I keep checking as we never know what surprises come from cic.

8 days away from 15 months and still nothing exciting.
Need a break. Going for 1 month vacation to homeland.
Excited about that.
Hopefully it will be double fun if we get ppr then.
Waiting to see golden email.

sure if i have anything i will elt you know.but as i remeber it happened for one of my friend and things got resolved in 5 days and the status was changed to original status as it was before.
