Lots of July 2015 applicants are still waiting for PPR... We're lucky if we got it in December.

yes it is important atleast 6 months validity once they send you passport request. My passport will expire on Aug 2017 I need to re-new it as well.

hi jovie mine is august too.so do you think we need to renew it.if u you got ur ppr january i think it has 7 months remaining mine is august 7 2017

Dec 7th - AOR
June 30th - Medical
Oct 14 - Changed state to In progress
Nov 22 - PPR

yeah kase not sure if we will get PPR by Jan or Feb.. just to make sure.. however theres no schedule for outreach consulate program for Phil Consulate issuing passport in Saskatchewan.. unless I fly to Toronto head office.

One of my friend got PPR last October, IRCC requires to have 1 year validity of her passport. ( email reminder says 6 months validity) she went to Phil Cons Calgary for passport extension..

Just got off the Phone with CIC.

They just told me that the processing time for Applicants on or After the start of September is 16 Months. And this might go up if the Application needs something for further processing.

And I will get my decision on of After Jan 02 2017.

Just wanted to let you September applicants know if this.

Hello guys, lets do sign petition to immigration minister for delaying our papers for permanent residency. I don't know how to creat petition. So please if someone know how to do, please do for us. I will do sign first.

One More thing.. if You do get Invite in Express Entry, you can still apply in that stream as well it seems. And that application will not affect this Paper based application.

But you will have to again spend about 1200+ dollars for the application fee and stuff.

Which ever gets approved, the other application will just get closed.

I called MP and he called CIC and agent told to MP, his( me ) background , crimanality , and medical are done.
But office is not finish yet with my questioner what i was requested with my medical and i submitted with medical on sep 8 2016.
So how long i have to wait for ppr. Please advise me

She informed CIC for her passport extension & it was noted in her file.

I am confused here.. I sent email to Philippine consulate general - Calgary (calgarypcg@yahoo.ca), They replied now saying;

"we do not extend passports, Please review your passport ASAP. You may come in as walk-in if you want, Walk-ins are welcome Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, or if you want to send an appointment, please read below"

Dandan88 so am not sure how it really goes. I heard about passport extensions stamps when I was in UAE consulate.
