Hopefully tomorrow.....CIC sent few passports that where received on Dec 23 on last Friday and today. So passports received on Dec 28 are next in line. Dec 24, 25, 26, 27 where non-working days at CIC....Good luck

Hi everyone, I know I asked a similar question last week, but I can't help asking again.
So it is showing DM on CIC process status website on Jan04, but looks like everyone on this forum received PPR right after DM including some Oct applicants, however, as a Sep applicant, I still haven't got mine even I already got DM. Anyone let me know if this is normal or if anyone has the same situation? Should I call CIC? What's the phone number?

Wait for 7-10 business until you get your PPR. Thats what we all experienced on this forum!

I'm a Filipino Nurse, presently here in Kuwait. Here is my timeline.

July 2016 -MPNP LOA approved
Jan 2,2017 -submitted requirements for PR
Jan 5,2017 -CIC received my papers accdg to DHL tracking

My question is, how long shall I wait before I receive their update whether my application is approved or rejected?

Hi m.prasla.. my spouse is also outside canada. i got two emails 'Ready for Visa' second email just mentioned if you have dependent then check for the near by visa office.
Therefore my spouse just send the passport along with the printout of 2nd email and two photographs to the near office. so your spouse just need to send her passport, two photographs and printout of the email as you did for yours just the difference is she need to submit her passport to her near office.

But i didn't get a second email you received. So should i wait for the email? In our case we filled out Annex A, but we didn't submit the Email printout. So, does we require to fill out Annex A? and also print Ready for Visa Email?

Just a question guys. I got PPR on friday and my representative said on her email to send my passport to her office and they'll forward it to CIC and will just send me a bill for the xpresspost charges (To CIC back to their office then back to me). I'm just wondering if it's possible that I forward my docs to CIC-Ottawa myself? I will save time and money if the documents just go directly to CIC and back to me. Not sure if I can do that if I hired a Rep.

You can do that... But you're actually by passing your representative. Sending your passport to your agent is the proper way but if you are brave enough to disregard your representative, go ahead

Wait for 3-4 months until you received AOR (Acknowledgement of receipt). Meaning they have already received or opened your application. Just keep praying. for as long as you know all the details or information you provided are true, nothing to be worried of being rejected. Tiwala lang kabayan. I just received my Passport last week. I applied September 2015.
