One Annexx A is enough. Include both of yours photographs and passports. But you will have to wait till you get PP's back to go to Indian right. In that case you both can do landing here right after you recieve PP back.
If i do landing here then i have to pay more for Visa because PP comes with single entry visa and then you wait till you get PR card to go out of country.

Thanks,
Sid

Hi happygarcha,

Thank you for your reply.

I know that most people drive through border to land, but I was wondering whether I can fly out of the country for a few days and come back to “ land”.

If I land through driving across the border, am I allowed to leave the country (and come back in Canada) before receiving PR card? Or do I need to apply for certain document to allow me to do that.

Thank you very much again.
yes you can go back to your country and come back to canada before your immigrant visa expired...once you leave canada and u come back later on with that immigrant visa ur eventually doing landing means to say ur r becoming pr.

if ur going to do specially landing then u will go out of canada border and u will tell USA Border agency that ur here for landing then they will give u a yellow slip and tell u to go back (ur coming back from no man's land not entering into USA) to canada and u will give that slip to CBSA officer and he/she will guide u to finish ur landing process,,,,

another scenario if u got pr but didn't get PR Card yet and u gone back to ur country (CBSA officer will advice u to not to leave country till u get PR Card unless its really an emergency ) in this case u need to apply a document called PRTD (Permanent Resident Travel Document). u can apply PRTD only overseas means when ur into ur country then u will apply there at ur closest Canadian High Commission (PRTD can't be applied while ur in Canada in case ur thinking that u can take PRTD then leave canada like VISA)

So can I safely assume that if I really need to be back to my country for a few days, land when I fly back is a better option than land through border and have to worry about needing PRTD if I have not received my PR card?

Thank you so much for the detail explaining, I really appreciate it.

What happens when you have submitted your passport for Temperory visa andduring that time you get PPR? Do we have to wait till we get our passport back or will they stamp immigrant visa as well if we inform them?

Yes i think u need to wait till u get ur passport back and u need to send it again for pr stamp with all documents needed.... it is waste of time .... i was about to do that a few weeks ago but luckily I cancelled that plan after one or two days i got ppr otherwise I would have been stuck for another month that’s how many days cic give u to submit all documents for pr stamp..if u calculating less days that u won’t b able to finish this in time i think u should contact cic asap and tell them about that
