is your background in process? If I were in your position and I need to travel in a month's time, I would apply for the visa to be safe. The current processing time says 11 days (Visa in Canada) but you also have to account for delivery time back and forth.

It is advisable to apply for TRV. As you have less than 2 months to travel. I will suggest that you apply for your TRV as soon as possible. It is better to spend the extra money instead of be in dilemma. If the PR comes before October, it is well and good, otherwise, your mind is at rest with TRV.

Received my GCMS notes today. May 25 applicant, MR in June. So far, no movement. BG is N/A. My GCMS notes from July and today's note are practically identical. File is @ PS-(deleted).

The processing time for TRV in Canada online is 11 days. If you account for delivery back and forth should be about 4 (express) days extra. Anytime IRCC/CIC request documents they normally give at least 30 days. I believe in the case of PPR, it is 30 days but someone who actually got PPR could confirm.

no .. i dont know anyone who Got PPR .. BUT one of my known landed last month .she had her medical done in march 2017 and PPR was in June 2ND week .. after that never heard anything so far .. soon i hope ( As we are in our 15 and half month ) Most of us completed and about to complete 16 months and some of us are already up then that time frame .

Some info in GCMS notes are deleted/obliterated for security/sensitivity reasons before they are sent out to us. For location "PS", there is always a hyphen that is followed by additional information. But, you will see the part that follows the hyphen is usually white-out. It is my observation.

Luckly today i got hold of CIC agent. They told me that they are processing my background check. I have not even recived MR yet. Is it normal that my BG is in process before getting MR? And when i asked about MR agent told me that they dont know when will i recive my MR. June 30 2016 applicant.
