No. I have been in Canada since 2012.

So many applicants added spouse later are in same boat
Almost 18 months for me
There are some between 20-23 months
Background is in process for all of them from last year

If u apply with ur spouse since beginning then there should be considered regular processing time.

Here people are waiting over processing time who add spouse in their file latter on.

I need your advise. I am a BCPNP inland applicant (June 20, 2016). My status recently changed to married and I added my wife's application to my application on July 14th 2017. I received my medical request today but still hasn't hear anything about my wife's application. What is normally the procedure they follow when you add up a family member? Is there any specific thread here on this forum which discuss that topics? Is there anyone here who is in the same condition as I am?

I am in the same situation. My status got changed to married recently and we are sending the docs for my wife today. Not sure what the delay will be but I am a May 2016 applicant. So I am already past 16 months and hence expecting atleast 6 more months after adding my wife. Anyways, what we are doing is that we are sending everything we can including the RPRF fees and upfront medical. Hopefully this will reduce the delay.

My Background check changed from N/A to In process today. Medicals done beffore 4 months, additional docs (Police and court certificates) sent beffore 2 months. How much until PPR?

Called CIC this morning to know the status of my application as its passed 16 months. As usual their same reply "your application is in process, we are doing your background check, we don't know how long it will take. If you don't hear anything in next one and half month, call us back.

I don't know what they are up to these days. Not idea when this waiting game will over.

Cic received my medical and it's showing in my timeline , but it's expired on July .. june 27 2016 I applied in cic .. can someone tell me what happened when cic received medical but it's expired befor PPR .. thanks in advance
