They used to do upfront medical but not any more.
I even booked appointment in january 2017 while i was waiting for my medical. Than 2 days before appointment date i get a call from Dr office and they cancelled my appointment saying that CIC doesn't allow them to do it . This was in Manitoba though. You can try but i doubt if you can do that.

Thanks Nomi.ch for the response. I called Dr office and they have provide appointment to us and even explained to us saying that it wont be a problem to submit up front medicals. Seems they are very knowledgeable people and I am going to get my medicals done by next week.

The cic system shows that my medical exam passed on May 3 2017.

Med requested : May 2, 2017
Book for Med : May 12, 2017

The question is my passport will expired this December 18,2017. I just wonder if i wait until landing, is there any problem? or should I renew my passport after medical receive?

The only place i can renew my passport, it is in Vancouver, and it takes a month to get a new one. I plan to get passport request and then go for landing at Vancouver and I will renew my passport after that. Do you think it is a good idea?

U should renew ur passport after medical exam.

Ur on the edge... u should have 6 months validly on passport while they stamp visa on passport... now it depends how fast they process ur application after medical received u have only one month technically to get visa stamped if not then u have to renew it... so if I were u I would renew it immediately instead of taking a chance... I recently renewed my passport in Vancouver and it takes only one month or little more... so my suggestion is to renew immediately

I received my 3rd GCMS notes.noticed everything is fine but there is a part where it says A39-A41 non compliance: not started.

The check was created in Jan 8 and had a due date for February 5 but no progress was made. A log entry on my file showed officer saying ”assessed-sec review req'd" so when I asked them.about it again in my notes they whited that part out. I also noticed officer circled a part on my background history where I went for vacation for 3 months to Pakistan in 2015. He specifically circled the word unemployed where I wrote purpose of visit was unemployed vacation.

The other issue might be me writing 10000 dollars on schedule 4 which is under the required funds on approximately 12000. But since I am inland applicant with job offer I don't need to show proof of funds.

My CRIMINALITY passed, my background and medical not started. Any input will be appreciated as this has really been​ bothering me for the past few months.

Did someone receive any request regarding update the application form(your personal information) or the criminal check? I filed my application in May 2016. I have been a year and my criminal check is expired already. I am not sure if I need update that information or not ? Anyone wants to share some experience

Does the processing time starts from when we receive the file number? or when cic received put complete file?
when did u get your file number ?

Does anyone knows how long does it takes to show up once submitted to cic ?? What is turn around time for medical clinic to upload or submit to CIC?
