Here's my timeline :
BC Nomination Issued - 15 May, 2016
PR Application Sent - 18 June, 2016
PR AOR - Sep 22, 2016

I am waiting for MR. However, my work premit is gonna expired in May. Anyone could share experience about extending work premit?

As you got AOR you can apply for BOWP. for this your employer dont need to pay anything. you can apply for open workpermit. It does not have anything to do with your pnp certificate.

If you don't have employment restriction(check your PNP certificate, employment restriction says 'No') then you can apply BOWP according to the link I gave you.
If you have employment restriction('Yes' in that field), then you can't apply BOWP, your employer needs to register the employer portal and pay $230 fee.

Hello ... i am going to apply bowp soon... but i have a question.... i am a pnp pr applicant with no employment restrictions on certificate... my pnp is already expired in September last year.... i have applied pr in may 16.... my pgwp is expiring on 1st April....in the mean time i have changed employer infact my company was taken over by new company... so now i am going apply bowp with new company that is different company than i have applied pr with!! Will there be any problem with that....? Do i need to go pnp first to get letter for wp??

It takes 30 days to process. There is $5 fee if you are in Canada and not a permanent resident or Citizen of Canada.

I will go to Regina, but if I arrange a job in Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Estevan , Swift Current anywhere in South of SK is good for me. My Noc is 2281 - IT Network Specialist

I am one outland PNP applicant. I received medical and additional document request in November 2016 from Hong Kong office. My medical exam passed in February 15, 2017. I am using one representative in Canada and I could not access mycic by myself. The representative thinks that my application is in normal process (within 16 months)and no need to query CIC. My question is how to find out whether background check is in progress or not. Thank you.

MR is passed in Dec as well...until provided additional documents in Dec...nothing happened...still waiting ( Can I add your contact info??

my VO is hk too, i received additional request on 12 dec and MR is passed in jan. Since then, no news.
