Hey guys I linked my application for Permanent residency today.... but why it says today's date in submitted section my application was received on 17th may 2016. Why that so ??

Same for me also. But I think it is showing the application linking date rather than receiving date.

My friend working at an immigration agent told me that XEP number basically means the application has been accepted at the first stage review. It is just a matter of time for it to be converted to AOR. He has never had a case that an application is returned given the XEP number is granted. Even though I am not sure the reliability of the word, it is a good sign at least. Thanks.

You are correct I think it happen in all category whenever you link. It always shows linking date just checked on other forums too.

You can check my detail timeline from my profile (just below my name). It was 6th June 2016. Mycic account says they have created a application in my name. But application processing has not been started yet. May God speed up the processing of our application and reach us to successful completion of our PR journey.

No, mine was received on May 20th, inland. I was just curious about the progression of things. I pray you get your AOR and a favourable response soon!
